On Monday, February 14, the nearly full moon will be near Castor and Pollux’s bright stars in the constellation Gemini. The stars can be seen high in the sky to the east, WATE ABC reports. According to NASA, the full moon will officially occur at 11:57 A.M. EST Wednesday. The brightest star near the full moon is Regulus, the brightest star in the constellation Leo.
Later in the week, on Saturday, February 19, if you look to the southeast 45 minutes before sunrise, you will see Venus, with Mars a little lower and slightly to the right, with Mercury, much lower above the horizon and to the horizon the left.
